Olde Homesteader, which we have been offering for a long time.

Among their products, it was their socks that customers repeatedly bought more of after their initial purchase. For socks, they are by no means cheap. Yet, the fact that so many people returned to buy them again seems to me the clearest testament to the quality of this brand.

"OLDE MIX JERSEY" is a pair of socks crafted by studying various socks from the 1940s and adapting them for modern life.

The soft and smooth 100% cotton knit fabric is made with a thick plain knit from the toe to the calf, and a finer rib knit only at the opening. Instead of tightly constricting the entire foot, it is held moderately in place only at the top edge, balancing both resistance to slipping down and a feeling of freedom.

The heel fits deeply and stays in place even when walking. The curve towards the toes is also natural, so there's no feeling of having to unnaturally bend your toes inside your shoes. While these might seem like obvious things to expect from socks, very few products are actually made with such careful consideration of these "obvious" details.

The thickness is right between Olde Homesteader's "PLAIN JERSEY" and "PLAIN RIB." It's not too tight with leather shoes, nor too thin and flimsy with sneakers. I think it's the most versatile thickness for everyday use, including for myself.

Although labeled BLACK-01, the actual color is more like a dark mottled gray. It blends well with black leather shoes and colored sneakers alike, and doesn't stand out too much when peeking out from under pant hems. Before I know it, I find myself reaching for these every time.

They may not be as conspicuous as clothing, but they are an item that touches the skin directly and spends most of the day inside shoes. It is in these unseen details that Olde Homesteader's true essence shines through, dedicating time and effort.
