ULTERIOR FADED SILKY TERRY RW ZIP UP PARKA

This season, the FADED SILKY TERRY series has been created with newly updated face and middle yarns.

Focusing on the heather grey appearance, the face yarn uses a strong twist yarn that creates a crisp texture, while the back yarn uses a soft, non-twist yarn. Furthermore, by repeatedly dyeing and raising the heather grey fabric, a depth of color and texture is achieved that is slightly different from mere霜降り (marbled) or vintage processing.

The shape is a zip-up hoodie, a new style for ULTERIOR.

It features irregular sleeve attachments that differ front to back, and a compact length despite the relaxed body width. While based on the so-called American reverse weave type, the fit when worn maintains a thoroughly modern balance.

The slight distortion and faded look created by product washing are also hallmarks of this garment. It has the relaxed feel of vintage clothing, yet never leans too heavily into being actual vintage. The carefully crafted fabric and precise pattern transform a casual zip hoodie into a piece characteristic of ULTERIOR.

And to coincide with the opening of The BORDER, we had a fully custom-made version of their classic baggy silhouette sweatpants, using the same material.

Rather than just making them wide, they have ample volume while maintaining a beautifully flowing silhouette when worn. By pairing them with the zip hoodie, you achieve both the relaxed comfort of a sweat suit and the strength of a cohesive style. This will be the absolute last release of this baggy style.

It works well closed as a single top or open as a light jacket. Of course, we highly recommend trying it as a standalone piece, but also as a set with The BORDER Edition baggy sweatpants.
