ULTERIOR FADED SILKY TERRY RW ZIP UP PARKA

The FADED SILKY TERRY series, updated this season with newly developed face and middle yarns.

The mottled gray texture is achieved by using strong twisted yarn for the face yarn, which creates a crisp texture, and non-twisted yarn for the back yarn, which offers a soft feel. Furthermore, by repeatedly dyeing and raising the fabric from its mottled gray state, it achieves a deep color and texture that is neither a simple heather nor a vintage finish, but something subtly different.

The silhouette is a zip-up hoodie, a new style for ULTERIOR.

It features irregular sleeve attachments that differ between the front and back, and a compact length despite the relaxed width. While based on the so-called American reverse weave style, the fit when worn maintains a thoroughly modern balance.

The slight distortion and faded appearance created by the product wash are also appealing aspects of this garment. It has a relaxed, vintage-like atmosphere, yet it never leans too heavily towards being an actual old garment. The carefully crafted fabric and precise pattern elevate a casual zip-up hoodie into a piece characteristic of ULTERIOR.

And to coincide with the opening of The BORDER, we had a fully custom-made version of their classic baggy silhouette sweatpants, using the same material.

Rather than simply being wide, they have ample volume while maintaining a beautifully draped silhouette when worn. Pairing them with the zip-up hoodie creates a set that combines the casual comfort of a sweat suit with the strength of a complete style. This baggy release will be the absolute last.

It can be worn as a single top with the front closed, or as a light jacket when open. In addition to being worn alone, the set-up with The BORDER Edition's baggy sweatpants is also a combination we highly recommend trying.
