If the Polo Shirt 2.0 was a light knit, this 4.0 is a more substantial, winter-oriented sweater.

Made from lamb's wool spun in Scotland, this piece is slowly knitted in a 5-gauge. The surface is brushed to give it a soft, napped texture. Despite its substantial thickness, the body has a seamless construction. When worn, it drapes nicely and is not as heavy as it looks.

It features a classic collar, a short placket with three mother-of-pearl buttons, raglan sleeves, and ribbed cuffs and hem. These familiar polo shirt elements have been reinterpreted as a Scottish knit.

There's no need to layer it over a shirt. Wear it alone over an undershirt, paired with denim or trousers. It instantly looks a little more refined than a standard knit and is warmer than a shirt. There's a good reason to wear a polo shirt in winter.

The colors are Light Grey Melange, which softens the silhouette, and a deep, desaturated Dusk Brown. Both colors beautifully highlight the shading of the napped fabric.
