BLACKBIRD Cut-off Collar Shirt

This shirt is a reinterpreted, remade piece that takes a regular collar shirt, drops the collar, and adds a V-neck incision.

It's not as stiff as a shirt, nor as casual as a cut-and-sew. By subtly altering the look of the neckline, it creates a natural sense of unexpectedness in how innerwear overlaps and how skin peeks through.

The fabric used is cotton-silk typewriter. It combines fine wrinkles from a washer finish with the understated luster unique to silk, offering depth within its lightness.

The inside of the cuffs features a micro houndstooth pattern. This is a characteristic BLACKBIRD detail, serving both the practical purpose of concealing cuff dirt and providing a subtle accent when the sleeves are rolled up.

This piece blurs the line between a shirt and a cut-and-sew, working well both on its own and layered under a jacket.
