ULTERIOR FADED SILKY TERRY RW ZIP UP PARKA (The BORDER Edit)

From this season, the FADED SILKY TERRY series has been created with newly updated face and middle yarns.

With an emphasis on the character of heather grey, strong twisted yarn is used for the face yarn to create a crisp texture, while untwisted yarn is used for the back yarn for a soft touch. Furthermore, by repeatedly dyeing and napping the heather grey fabric, a nuanced color and texture are achieved that are subtly different from a mere mottled pattern or vintage processing.

The shape is a new zip-up hoodie for ULTERIOR.

It features irregular sleeve attachments that differ between the front and back, and a compact length that complements the roomy width. While based on the classic American reverse weave style, the fit when worn maintains a modern balance.

The slight distortion and faded feel created by the product wash are also highlights of this garment. It possesses a relaxed, vintage-like atmosphere, yet never leans too heavily into being a mere second-hand item. The meticulous fabric creation and elegant pattern transform a casual zip hoodie into a distinctive ULTERIOR piece.

In conjunction with the opening of The BORDER, we have also created a completely bespoke version of the classic baggy silhouette sweatpants made from the same material.

Rather than simply being wide, the silhouette has ample volume and drapes beautifully when worn. Paired with the zip hoodie, it offers both the casual ease of a sweat setup and the strength of a cohesive style. This will be the absolute last release of the baggy style.

It can be worn as a top with the front closed or as a light jacket with it open. In addition to wearing it alone, we highly recommend pairing it with The BORDER Edition baggy sweatpants. (※VINTAGE BLACK is a special color order.)
